Casting Notes: * NAT DEAN IS CURRENTLY LIVING AND WORKING IN SYDNEY
Nat Dean's voice sounds as though he's just walked out of your spare bedroom wearing cotton boxer shorts and a T-shirt that says on the front "Voice Actor For Hire".
Sitting at your kitchen table worshipping the first of two strong coffees he tells you about the one girl, the one cop and the one drink too many. He's the cute tradie boyfriend of your sister and the clubhouse hero of your footy mates. He has work-site dust in his hair, paint on his hands and when it's time to go, a getaway ute on the lawn. If only he could find his keys and phone.
Lunch-time it's a pie and a Red Bull to wash it down. He's got pubs and places to go. A mate to pick up 'cause they're going to the races and a certain girl to avoid.
You'll hear Nat Dean's voice up a ladder on a worksite, down a trench beside the road and at the beach in boardies, sunnies and a cap.
Keeping cool on a sun-lounge in Phuket he's the voice of Gen X on his mobile phone, downloading his favourite music and keeping tabs on that blonde in the sports car who's keeping tabs on him.
If ever there was someone to look uncomfortable in the shirt and floral tie his girlfriend bought him it's Nat. While she's not looking, he's escaped to the Cougar Bourbon circle of his surf club buddies.
Want a picture?.......Nat Dean's voice is like "Bondi Rescue" on a long board. Apprentice of the year. Ute owner with a spanking new bull-bar and bull dog. When you invite him around to do the best job you've ever heard.......remember, get him to take his boots off. |
